AMBASSADOR ( R ) DATO’ M. REDZUAN KUSHAIRI is the Dato Shah Bandar and Member of the Royal Council of the State of Perak. YBhg. Dato’ graduated in International Relations and History from University of Malaya before he was sent to Moscow State University to further his education in the Study of Russian Language. Ybhg. Dato’ had later served in the Malaysian Diplomatic Service from 1972 to 1996. The last post held by him was as Malaysian Ambassador to Uzbekistan (concurrently accredited to Kyrgyz Republic) from 1994 to 1996. Before that he had also served as Deputy Permanent Representative at the Malaysian Mission to the United Nations, Deputy High Commissioner in the United Kingdom, Charge d’ Affaires in Ethiopia, First Secretary/Head of Chancery in Washington D.C., and Second Secretary in Moscow. YBhg. Dato’ was the Special Assistant to former Foreign Ministers, the late Tun Ghazali Shafie and Tengku Tan Sri Ahmad Rithauddeen.
YBhg. Dato’ is currently the Chairman of eVera Solutions Sdn Bhd, a Company specializing in e-Solutions for the Governments and Enterprises, and Wireless Systems including WiFi, MeshWiFi and convergence of 3G Network and WiFi/MeshWiFi areas and hotspots. Also attached as Director of Seloga International and Denia Development, both are subsidiaries of Seloga Bhd. Denia Development is developing mixed township in Johore Baru, across from the Johore-Singapore Second–link.
YBhg. Dato’ is currently part of the Panel of Advisors for Silverlake and a Director of Global Impact, a subsidiary of Silverlake and System Integrator for Silverlake. MultiMedia Glory Biometrics Smart Cards and Solutions are used by the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Interior, Immigration and ID Cards for Foreign Workers and Students in Malaysia.
Well established in the IT Industry of Malaysian business, YBhg. Dato’ was well sought after and recently appointed as the Director for DataMicron, a Business Intelligence Solutions namely for KPIs, Balanced Scorecards, Dash-boards and Datamining. Their clientele networks are multi-nationals companies based in Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia, with DHL Asia-Pacific as one of the many reputable clients worth mentioning.
His reputation commensurate with accolades awarded when YBhg. Dato’ received the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP, 1995) and also the Ahli Mangku Negara (AMN, 1983). He had also received the Excellent Service Award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1993 and 1994). Such awards received has established himself as a highly regarded corporate figure in Malaysia where he is currently holding several high profile portfolio such as being the Deputy Chairman of Foreign Policy Study Group led by Ambassador Tan Sri Razali Ismail, Founding and Committee Member of Malaysian International Affairs Forum (MIAF), Associate Member of Royal Chatham House, International Affairs Society, London (1986-1990) and the Academy of Political Science, U.S.A. (1990-1994) apart from the GSM Association (through UZMACOM) between 1997- 2004.
In his social activities, YBhg. Dato’ is an active member of Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) and he was also invited to lecture at the President’s State Academy (Tashkent) on Diplomacy and International Organizations between 1994 and 1999. He was the Chairman for Uzbek–Malaysian Friendship Society between 1994 and 1996. YBhg. Dato’ is the Chairman of Clove Star International Sdn. Bhd.

M. KOOBALAN is an expert in the field of Agriculture Science with more than 28 years of experiences. He was a Master graduate from the Agriculture University of Himchal Pradesh, India in 1981. Upon returning to Malaysia in 1982, he was already holding a senior post of Plantation Manager to develop 10,000 acres of rubber plantation in Sipitang for Sabah Rubber Fund Board, an agency under the State Government of Sabah. He was later promoted to the post of Assistant General Manager reporting direct to the GM of SRFB and was based at its headquarters in Kota Kinabalu.
After 3 years serving in Kota Kinabalu, he left the agency in 1990 to join Sunway Group of Companies at Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya as the Manager of Sunway Nursery and Landscaping Sdn. Bhd. Attached at Sunway Group has developed him into a dynamic as well as creative landscape contractor with highly skilled expertise in the field of project management whereby landscape projects for the whole of Bandar Sunway townships successfully completed under his full management and supervision was at a value estimating to RM45 Million. Other landscape projects managed under Sunway Group landscaping arm were namely Sunway Theme Park (RM12M), Manjung Theme Park (RM5.5M), Tropicana Golf Course (RM9M), KLCC Park (RM79M), Malacca Town Park (RM2.5M, Shah Alam Expressway (RM3M) ) as well as KLCC Park & Landscape (RM70M).
After a successful career at the Sunway Group, equipped with the strong financing and established network of business affiliates and clients over the past 8 years, he finally decided to set up his own landscape contracting company. In 1998 he co-founded Garden Bay Sdn. Bhd. and currently attached to Garden Bay as the Project Director responsible to lead diverse sets of landscape project team. Among the successful completed projects undertaken under his own establishment were landscape contracts awarded by some of the renown developers in the country who are namely Bandaraya Developments Berhad (RM5.038M), Sunway Group of Companies (RM6.839M), Menara Millenium Bukit Damansara (RM750K), Dijaya Corporation (RM1.5M), IJM Corporation Bhd. (RM4.795M), Encorp Bhd. (RM1.055M), Bukit Kiara Properties Sdn. Bhd. (RM2M), SIME Darby Technology Sdn. Bhd. (RM2.9M), Projek Lintasan Shah Alam Sdn. Bhd. (RM2.3M), Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (RM2.8M), SP Setia Berhad (RM8.9M), Putrajaya Holdings Bhd. (RM6.9M) apart from some other mixed development projects with a total contract value of approximately RM15M.
Driven by the desire to grow and expand the business horizon, he saw the niche of establishing a development management company with diverse focus of business into a multi-dimensional and cross-sector industry. Together with group of affiliates and professional partners, he co-founded Clove Star International Sdn. Bhd. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer heading the Investment Management, Business Development and Technical Management Divisions of the company.
SRI RAHAYU BINTI HJ. TAMIN is a graduate in both Business Studies and Business Management with more than 16 years of professional experiences. Upon graduating from the Business School in 1994, she was attached with Sunway Group of Companies, Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya in 1994 as the Corporate Services Secretary reporting to the Assistant General Manager of the Corporate Services Department. Her communication skills and versatile personality gains her the opportunity to pursue matter pertaining to liaising with the local authorities for project being developed by the company. Apart from her usual corporate duties she was also involved in the preparations of the Business Plans for Sunway City Berhad Group of Companies.
Later, she left Sunway Group in 1997 to join DiGi Swisscom Berhad as Senior Executive in Procurement and Logistic Department reporting to the General Manager of Procurement and Logistics Department. Her duties were to liaise with its Marketing Department team on the advertizing of its products and services.
For 3 years between 1999 and 2001, she was attached with Ramdas Properties Management, a premier Real Estate consultant company in Cyberjaya, Putrajaya and Puchong, Selangor as a Sales Consultant. With the company she has had sales experience in numerous high-end properties namely, Sunway City’s Sunway Lagoon View Condominium, Hyatt Saujana properties, as well as several other properties in and around Mont’ Kiara and Sri Hartamas.
In 2001, she joined Garden Bay Sdn. Bhd. as the Administration and Financial Director where her main duties are handling the general administration of the corporate affairs of the company, developing the annual budget and profit and loss expenditures apart from liaising with the financial institution for project funding. Being the Financial Controller of the company is another scope designated to her at Garden Bay.
Together with group of affiliates and professional partners, she co-founded Clove Star International Sdn. Bhd. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer heading the Financial & Credit Control, Corporate & Legal affairs apart from the Human Resources and Administration Divisions of the company.
M.RAMADAS is a highly experienced technical experts and a successful entrepreneur in his own accolades with more than 28 years of experiences in his professional field. After graduating as a Mechanical Engineer from South Gujarat University in India, he joined United Motor Works (UMW) in the management training program for 6 months. On successful completion, he was assigned to UMW Toyota as a Production Executive for all Daihatsu vehicles, which was assembled under contract in the plant.
Eventually he joined an American multinational company, Colgate Palmolive (M) Sdn. Bhd. where he was appointed as a Production/Maintenance Engineer, called him back into the main stream of his technical supremacy. During this tenure, he established an international standard operating methodology of preventive maintenance and decentralized store management known as the Total Productive Maintenance Methodology in the soap finishing plant. This eventually became his signature knowledge-base expertise and the model was later introduced to other plants in Colgate Palmolive Malaysia.
Because of his well-renown expertise, many manufacturing industry player sought him after. In 1991 he left Colgate Palmolive Malaysia to join an American multinational company, Union Carbide Corporation that involve in manufacturing industrial adhesives, latex and binders. He was appointed as the Safety/Quality Assurance Manager. During his year long tenure with the company, he initiated and develop its Quality Work Groups in the plant apart from introducing his signature knowledge-base program on Total Productive Maintenance Methodology for his new employer.
He left the company in 1992 to join Sime Coating Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary company of Sime Darby, which involve in paint manufacturing business. His reputation earns him as the Head of Department for the Engineering Department of the plant. During his 8 years tenure, apart from leading the Process Improvement Program and System Equipment Procurement Committee, he was also the Chairman of safety committee and the implementation of the OHSAS 14001 safety and health system for the company. The following 3 years after between 2000 until 2005, his enviable reputation has further earned him a promotion where he was transferred to Sime Kansai Paints, a joint venture initiative for setting up of a new paint manufacturing plant between Sime Coatings Sdn. Bhd. and Kansai Paints Japan). Over there, he was given the responsibility to establish a new Engineering Department outfit, leading the Installation and Commissioning Program of new equipments and machines, setting up a Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team and establish the OHSAS 14001 as well as ISO 9001 certifications for the new plant.
By the year 2006, he became a subject matter expert and business-owner of his own Design and Build Engineering & Contracting Company with main focuses are into mechanical and electrical contracting works for landscaping projects, design and manufacture dispensing equipments for industrial liquids as well as the supply of raw materials and automation system for chemical-based factories. He co-founded Clove International and currently appointed as the Technical Director to lead the Technical Division that governs the Project Management and Project Support Office Units. He is also the Board of Directors of Clove Star International Sdn. Bhd.
